This Privacy Policy explains how Namaz Vakti ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
- Location: With your permission, the App uses your device's approximate or precise location to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction for where you are. Location is used on the device for these features; it is not sold or used to build a profile of you.
- Account information: You can use the core features without an account. If you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and basic profile name. Accounts and sign-in are handled through our backend provider, Supabase.
- Worship data: If you sign in, your prayer tracking marks, streaks, qada counters and dhikr history are stored with your account so they stay in sync across reinstalls and devices.
- Purchase information: If you subscribe to Premium, purchase status is processed through RevenueCat and Google Play billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
- Advertising data: The free version displays ads through Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, Meta Audience Network), which may collect device identifiers, advertising ID, approximate location, and usage signals to serve and measure ads.
- Analytics and device information: We use Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This may include device model, operating system, app version, language, and general usage events.
- Notifications and alarms: Prayer alarms are scheduled locally on your device. If you allow notifications, they are used only to remind you of prayer times and app features you enabled.
How We Use Information
- To provide core functionality: prayer times, qibla direction, alarms, tracking, qada, dhikr, tutorials and the religious calendar.
- To keep your worship data in sync when you sign in.
- To manage Premium subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To display and measure advertising in the free version.
- To analyze usage, improve content and features, and keep the App stable.
- To respond to support requests.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — accounts and worship data storage
- Google Sign-In — optional account sign-in
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Google Play Billing — in-app purchases
- Google AdMob (with AppLovin and Meta Audience Network mediation) — advertising
- Google Firebase — analytics and app stability
- AppsFlyer — install attribution and analytics

Advertising
The free version shows ads via Google AdMob and its mediation partners, which may use your advertising identifier to provide personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent choices. In regions where consent is required, the App asks for it and lets you change your choice anytime in Settings → "Ad privacy options". Premium subscribers do not see ads.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the third-party providers listed above as necessary to operate the App, or where required by law.
Data Retention
We retain account and worship data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see below).
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, see our account deletion page or email us with the subject line "Delete my account".
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
